SamePage Solutions Appoints Theodore Frank to Board of Directors
SaaS Veteran Strengthens Operational and Strategic Talent
of Board during Time of Substantial Growth
Wooster, OH. – April 30, 2007 – SamePage Solutions (SamePage), a leader in on-demand travel & expense management software through its Expensewire.com product, today announced the appointment of Theodore (Ted) Frank, co-founder and president of Cleveland-based Axentis and co-founder and former executive vice president of meeting and convention planning software pioneer PlanSoft, to its Board of Directors effective March 1, 2007. A software industry veteran, Mr. Frank is a leader in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model and has not only championed, but secured, its use in both the SMB and F1000 markets.
“Ted brings a unique combination of deep SaaS industry experience, hospitality/meetings industry experience, and hands-on operations experience building markets and rapidly scaling companies,” said Andrew Vaeth, founder and CEO, SamePage. “Since launching our award-winning Expensewire.com in 2006, our company has entered a remarkable growth path. It didn’t take us long to realize upon hitting this stage that we needed additional operating talent on our board and have now succeeded in securing an operating executive with over 11 years in the SaaS market. We’re truly fortunate to have such an accelerating business and look forward to Ted’s active board role in guiding our company during this exciting time”
“SamePage attained a variety of significant milestones in 2006, not the least of which has been achieving wide acclaim for and adoption of it’s Expensewire.com solution,” said Ted Frank. “The expense management market has been screaming for a more modern and usable solution that users will adopt without grimacing. Now they have one. Ironically, given that organizations overwhelmingly select the product due to its ease of use, one of the application’s most exciting capabilities is the elegance of its integration with other applications. This has driven a feeding frenzy as potential partners seek Expensewire’s participation in on-demand mash-ups across a variety of markets. These are the factors that define a category killer and I couldn’t be happier than to join an already strong group of directors as it guides the company’s rapid ascent in the T&E management market.”
