WOOSTER, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ExpenseWire announced today the release of its QuickBooks integration tools. The QuickBooks Integration Module for ExpenseWire allows companies that use the popular accounting system to easily transfer their expense reporting data from ExpenseWire to QuickBooks. This essential function eliminates the need for dual entry of general ledger transactions and other accounting data. The module provides secure, end-to-end integration directly between the client's internal QuickBooks installation and the ExpenseWire.com on-line expense management service.

As a member of the Intuit® Developer Network, ExpenseWire has deployed its integration scheme in accordance with approved standards provided by Intuit's QuickBooks product team. This makes data transactions and application interface secure, reliable, and compatible with current and future versions of QuickBooks.

The module provides a complete interface that allows users to tap into appropriate expense report information from ExpenseWire and transfer it directly to QuickBooks. This is done using the standardized QuickBooks Web Connector methodology. After the module is activated in ExpenseWire, administrators see easy-to-follow instructions to complete the set up process in QuickBooks. After configuration, administrators trigger the process from inside QuickBooks to get expense tracking data as required.
